Normal soreness usually settles

Everyday muscle soreness tends to improve over a few days and does not usually stop you moving normally.

When to get support

If pain is sharp, keeps returning, affects a joint, or changes the way you move, it is usually worth getting it assessed rather than just hoping it settles.
